Many exciting things are happening here in emjaroland.

First and foremost, we are in the midst of moving. After being in the same building for almost four years, its refreshing to shake things up again. We are losing our hardwoods but gaining an extra bedroom that will serve as the home office of ER consulting (still working on the official name) and a fireplace and all those modern conveniences our current homey yet old fashioned digs does not provide. And even though this may come as a shock, we've even managed to improve our view and gain both a balcony and roof deck from which to enjoy said view.

Too bad all this craziness coincides with a trip back east and the beginning of the big contract. But still, looking forward to organizing the life a bit.

In other news, I applied for my business license, which should be on the way in 10 days. Washington State has lots of resources online for sole-proprietors like myself.

In the most exiting news, moving to the new place allows me to fulfill my dream for the past decade - if not longer. It's time to get a dog. The best thing to do is adopt. If you haven't been keeping up with trends, it is no longer acceptable to refer to yourself as a dog owner. The prefered term is companion. So I'm searching for the right companion.
