Yesterday morning CNN's web site told me that the plague had been identified in Tacoma. Then we found out that wasn't true. So today we turn to CNN to answer some important questions.

My good friend Jared from Prague has recorded and released a CD. It is very good and he's played gigs all over Europe and he played at the Olympics in SLC too! Not in the staduim or on the bob sled track, but still you probably know how much I love the Olympics.

I have a new favorite web site genre. I really didn't know it existed until last week but I'm completely amused (although I am easily amused). I don't know if there is an umbrella term for these types of web sites, but the M.O. is to post pictures from old cookbooks and then make fun of them.

To see what got me hooked, check out Weight Watchers pics circa 1974. Ah, that's some good stuff!

Then you can move on to the big one: The Gallery of Regrettable Food . It even has an accompanying book, that you can buy! You know for all those times you can't figure out what to get for a going away party thrown for an ex coworker. Oh baby, this is it.

It makes me laugh, oh yes.

That has got to be the largest sea creature I've ever seen. ...with eyes as big as dinner plates and a beak like a parrot! Are you kidding me? This has got to be the coolest news to come along in quite a while.

Now all we have to do is get a Critter Cam on one of these guys.
