Yep. Every look is some variation on where's my dinner? The other famous looks are:
- where do you think you are going without me?
- i swear i didn't eat a loaf of bread right off the counter, even though the crumbs on your bed point to the contrary
- why won't that squirrel just hold still so I can eat it?

you should bring Sassy to Boston. We're overrun with squirrels right now, thanks to a combination of weather and idiots feeding them. Memorial Drive has become quite the squirrel graveyard, as they're getting more courageous darting into traffic (think "frogger", except they almost always lose). Sassy could chase away the squirrels (and hopefully catch them) while Toby could chase the evil, mean geese.
As for leaving the loaf of bread on the counter, well, in her doggy brain, she probably thought it had her name on it. If you didn't want her to have it you would have put it away, right?
Dogs certainly have a good life.
