Good news!
Both of my conference proposals got accepted! Exciting stuff. The good news is that the STC conference is in Seattle, which is also the not so good news - no exciting trips to exotic locales, but get to stay here in Seattle and show off the town to colleagues.

congrats! I'm curious to see what you'll be presenting. I submitted a paper to the conference, but haven't heard anything back yet...
do they get in touch with you either way?

I'm presenting on two things, one is usability and government with Suzanne, the other is with some other instructors from UW - about blogs and teaching, which should be interesting.
I think they do tell you either way. I just got the letter yesterday, but someone else I know was notified by email. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
