All I Want For Christmas

Last weekend I tried surfing for the first time. It was both wonderful, scary and somewhat painful. But I'm hooked, or at least I'd like to be. So I'm thinking this year for Xmas I'm going to treat myself to something nice. Like a lesson or two here.

Some Photos From Alaska

Well here are a number of pictures from my trip. I took over 300 just because I had a big new memory card and it was so hungry. I had a hard time keeping it satisfied. Although, most of the pictures, at least from the backcountry Denali hike were from the times I was feeling happy and amazed, which was about 90% of the time.

So, there is quite a lack of photo's from day 4, miles 26-28 cause I was just about done with everything at that point. Well besides fear, I still had time for fear. But no photos. I'll post more once I sift through them and find the good ones.

Here I am, standing on my favorite little foothill in front of my favorite view. Posted by Hello

Behold ....

Here's a shot of the recent Alaska trip. In Denali, this is Unit 8, looking out on the Polychrome Glacier. See the pretty glacier, look how close it looks. Like you can almost touch it. Like you can just hike on up to it.  Posted by Hello
